What is Intentional Play Time?

Intentional Play Time facilitates recreational activities for children, elders, and individuals with disabilities, fostering engagement and connection through play. The activities are specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of the individuals served, with the aim of promoting growth, development, and exploration.

Recreational Activities Facilitator

Intentional Play Time is scheduled by a parent, guardian, or coordinator. The facilitator will travel to the home of a school-aged child, elder, or disabled adult/child who has been registered by a parent or guardian to participate in a recreational activity session. These sessions typically last between two to four hours. Activities include arts and crafts, games, and spontaneous activities. For children, spontaneous activities may include puppet shows, building blocks, and Legos, while for adults, they may involve table-sized puzzles, matching card games, and board games.
